Body

Despite multiple big tech companies like Samsung and Tesla entering Williamson County, there is still a strong agricultural presence in the county.

Rural farmlands have been passed down through families over generations, and urban farmers use greenhouses, community gardens and their yards to grow varying quantities of produce.

Local farmers markets provide an outlet for producers to sell and share their home-grown products with the community. Spread out across the county, farmers markets offer fresh produce and meat from local farmers, as well as products from small businesses: homemade soap, clothing, baked goods and more.

Farmers markets provide a family friendly setting for a weekend adventure, a casual date idea or as an outlet to connect with the community. Find the closest farmers market to you and see what your community has to offer.
