Georgetown ISD voters gave school trustee Jen Mauldin a second three-year term in the May 4 trustee election.
She defeated challenger Aaron Smith for Place 6, garnering 70 percent of the vote.
Also elected was Stacy McLaughlin who ran unopposed for Place 7.
“This result shows community support of the initiatives we’ve put into place to improve GISD’s academic performance,” Ms. Mauldin said.
