Frances “Fay” Pool has always loved to travel. A 21-year career in the U.S. Army took her to many bases stateside, plus far-flung locales in Germany and South Korea. But Ms. Pool says none of that prepared her for, nor can surpass, the thrill she felt taking part in a recent two-day Honor Flight Austin excursion to Washington, D.C.
