Owen Williams, 91, of Georgetown, TX, peacefully passed away on April 18, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with Dementia.

Owen was born on March 11, 1933, to Earl M. Williams and Madge W. Williams in Jasper, Florida. When Owen was 2, the family moved to Jacksonville Beach, Florida. After Owen graduated from St. Paul’s Catholic High School in 1952, he pursued a degree in electronics at the University of New Mexico.

After graduation, he worked in the semiconductor industry for over 38 years. Owen was passionate about his job and loved what he did for a living. In 1986, he met Cheryl at Motorola. Owen and Cheryl had seven kids between them.

After 38 fulfilling years in the field, Owen retired in 1999. Retirement allowed him to fully embrace his love for playing golf, RVing, and working on his land in Dripping Springs. In 2005, Owen and Cheryl found their haven in Sun City, Texas.

Owen was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Madge Williams; sister, Jackie Wall-Williams; brother, William Mack Williams; son, Kenneth Williams; son, Theodore Williams; and step-daughter, Laura Phillips.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Williams; daughters: Stephanie Castillo (Rafael), and Connie McMahon; son, Tim Williams (Julie); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas, on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 10 a.m.
